How does adoption work?

On UFarmer you can choose between different types of adoption:

Adopting a vineyard will allow you to participate in the whole process of wine production;
Adopt an olive grove to follow the whole process of oil production;
Use a barrel to participate in the production process after the harvest.

What does it mean to adopt a vineyard?

Thanks to the adoption system you achieve food and wine excellence and contribute to its production process.
Let’s take an example, if you choose to adopt a certain quantity of vines in 2023, you will be entitled to a corresponding quantity of wine of the vintage 2023 when the cultivation, harvest, harvest processes will be completed, fermentation, and bottling.

What does it mean to adopt an olive tree?

Let’s take an example, if you choose to adopt an olive grove in 2023, you will be entitled to a certain amount of olive oil of the year 2023 when the cultivation, harvesting, washing, crushing, kneading, centrifuging processes will be completed, storage and bottling.

What does it mean to adopt a barrel?

When you choose to use a cask, you participate in the production phases following the harvest and the harvest. By adopting a cask you can obtain the product of different vintages that may need different timing of aging.

If I’m not sure about adoption, do I get a chance to taste it first?

UFarmer, through the Tasting Kit, you will have the opportunity to choose which bottles to taste in peace and select which rows of vineyards or olive groves to adopt. This option is available for both adoptions of vineyards and olive groves.
